Sharon Kabbes Chrisman

Upon her 17yr-old daughter’s T1D diagnosis in December 2011, Sharon dove headfirst into navigating diabetes management in two homes. Sharon is mentor to new families through the JDRF Connections Program, has recently joined Cincinnati Children’s Champion Program and has an active online presence in the DOC. She is mother to two daughters, sometimes diabetes blogger at www.sheherdandme.com and is determined to grow a safe space for other families through the creation of a new Facebook group— Type One Diabetes in Two Homes.
