While the author claims he is not an expert, the fictional book describes in excellent detail how a boy with Asperger&#8217;s Syndrome might view the world. \u00a0The book acts as a reminder that we truly never know what &#8220;the other&#8221; is thinking or experiencing and the most important thing we can do is act in honesty and love.<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My book recommendation has little to do with diabetes, but here it is: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon.<br \/>\nThis is a book about an alternate perception of reality.
