It increases insulin secretion and lowers blood glucose level by inhibiting DPP-4 which is an enzyme inactivating two hormones, GLP-1 and GLP, selectively. ACTOS is a thiazolidinedione (TZD) class and lowers blood glucose level by improving insulin resistance.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The information regarding potential bladder cancer risk mentioned in the Japanese ACTOS package insert is reflected into the LIOVEL package insert.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:
