Many thanks to <a title=\"Tara Parker Pope\" href=\"http:\/\/well.blogs.nytimes.com\/author\/tara-parker-pope\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tara Parker-Pope <\/a>for posting the piece, and for everyone who has commented on it or forwarded it to family and friends.
