In the &#8220;treat-to-target? studies, where Tresiba<\/div>\n<div>was compared to Lantus (insulin glargine), Tresiba\u00a0successfully achieved equivalent reductions in HbA1c and was associated with\u00a0significantly lower risk of nocturnal hypoglycaemia.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Japan, Tresiba\u00a0will be available in FlexTouch, Novo Nordisk?s latest\u00a0prefilled insulin pen, which has an easy auto-injector mechanism and in Penfill\u00a0for Novo Nordisk?s durable insulin pens.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Novo Nordisk expects to launch Tresiba\u00a0in Japan as soon as price negotiations\u00a0have been completed.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Novo Nordisk\u00a0submitted\u00a0Tresiba\u00a0for regulatory approval to the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in\u00a0September\u00a02011.
