And if you happen to combine it with chocolate, all the better. These peppermint cheesecake bars are easy to make and require no baking. Beat in sour cream, whipping cream, and extracts until combined.\r\n          <\/li>\n                            <li class=\"instruction \" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">\n          Add red food colouring and beat until desired colour is achieved (I use India Tree natural food dyes).\r\n          <\/li>\n                            <li class=\"instruction \" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">\n          Carefully spread filling over crust.\r\n          <\/li>\n                                                <div class=\"instruction-label\">\n            Topping:\r\n          <\/div>\n                                <li class=\"instruction \" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">\n          In a medium bowl, beat whipping cream with sweetener and vanilla until it holds stiff peaks. Spread over filling.\r\n          <\/li>\n                            <li class=\"instruction \" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">\n          Chill cheesecake for at least 3 hours, until set. Drizzle with melted chocolate and crushed candies, if desired.\r\n          <\/li>\n                            <li class=\"instruction \" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">\n          Cut into 16 bars.
