The phase 2 results demonstrated sustained weight loss over a 52 week period.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2009 the two companies <a href=\"https:\/\/asweetlife.org\/a-sweet-life-staff\/in-the-news\/drugs-treatment\/takeda-and-amylin-to-co-develop-obesity-treatments\/2202\/\" target=\"_self\">announced<\/a> an agreement to
