used to reduce blood pressure significantly decreased the risk for cardiovascular disease, including stroke, in normal weight, overweight and obese patients.\u00a0 Obese patients, who had higher initial blood pressure rates, gained the greatest benefit from blood pressure-lowering therapy.<br \/> In the United States, an estimated 81 million people suffer from cardiovascular disease,
