I didn&#8217;t. But as luck would have it, today is the day I am officially launching the Reluctant Diabetic, my long-overdue online attempt to unite the diabetics of the world. So I have decided to co-opt the holiday. Yes, that&#8217;s right: from this year on, November 14th will officially be known as The Reluctant Diabetic World Diabetes Day. This year, the celebrations are starting small (me, my computer, a press release about pancreases). But stick around, and things might get better.
