{"id":7165,"date":"2010-04-26T15:23:42","date_gmt":"2010-04-26T19:23:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/asweetlife.org\/?p=7165"},"modified":"2015-12-29T08:24:00","modified_gmt":"2015-12-29T13:24:00","slug":"jonas-brothers-diabetes-benefit-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asweetlife.org\/?p=7165","title":{"rendered":"Jonas Brothers Diabetes Benefit Concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Jonas Brothers are set to perform a concert at Danny DeVito\u2019s house.\u00a0 The concert will benefit the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, &amp; Metabolism at Children\u2019s Hospital in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event is in support of Dr. Francine Kaufman, Nick Jonas\u2019 own diabetes doctor.\u00a0 Jonas was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 13 and even wrote a song about his struggles with it, \u201cA Little More Longer.\u201d He has also acted as a diabetes ambassador to promote diabetes management for young people and has testified before the U.S. Senate for more research funding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The \u201cRock for Diabetes\u201d event will take place Sunday, May 16th from 4pm to 7pm at the Beverly Hills home of Danny DeVito and Rhea Pearlman.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tickets begin at $1000 for the private performance from Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas, a gourmet picnic and drinks.
