According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/pub_releases\/2010-04\/aaoo-bva042710.php\" target=\"_blank\">EurekAlert<\/a> the study found that treating diabetic macular edema (DME) with Roche&#8217;s ranibizumab (Lucentis) eye injections, plus laser treatment if needed, appears to result in better vision than laser treatment alone.
