If I left align my body
\nthrow its edges
\nagainst a wall I
\nbuilt inside
\na membrane locking out
\nthe memory of
\nexcursion an up
\nand a down<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sea I am jealous
\nyour tide mediocre
\nat least you
\nhave the moon to blame<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If I left align my body
\nhold it
\nstill forehead to cement
\nagainst a cold thymus
\nhe doesn’t recognize
\nme I’m pretty sure<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Do you remember
\nwhen you remembered me
\nwe were friends then you
\ngrew too big maybe
\ntoo many too busy now
\nmy teeth cut funny
\nangles in the sun
\nyour eyebrows raised<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If I left align my body
\nreset the roads
\nthe routes that we
\ntraced red and inflamed
\nforgetting who and why
\ndyeing coriander and
\nselling saffron
\nforgetting who and why
\nand me in the mix<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You gave away my
\nlichen moss
\nmy mold you said
\nnomad you nomad
\ndon’t keep pets<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If I left align my body
\nand I am straight
\nI am flat against
\nthis column its white
\nborder arm in arm
\nstill waiting
\nfor you
\nwill you
\ncome back to me
\nmy own body
\nwill you remember
\nmy teeth the sun
\nthe shape of dancing
\nthe taste the tissue
