Andrea King is a screenwriter who lives in Los Angeles. She most recently finished an adaptation of the Philip Caputo novella “Standing In.” Other projects that she will resume working on after the strike include the cycling comedy “Tour de Frank” for director Tom Shadyac at Universal, and “Squeezed” for producer Jerry Bruckheimer at Disney (both written with Andy Marx). She also adapted the novel “Tales from a Traveling Couch” for Endgame Entertainment. And wrote the original romantic comedy “Ex Factor” for Team Todd and Revolution. Before becoming a screenwriter she had a producing deal at Fox. Prior to that she covered the film business for the Hollywood Reporter, after working in Israel for The Jerusalem Post. She has her master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She hates cilantro.
