Melissa Lieser

Melissa Lieser began her training in Culinary Arts at Kendall College in Chicago, Illinois and most recently at the French Culinary Institute in New York City, where she graduated with distinction and at the top of her class.  She has worked in multiple kitchens across the United States and is the founder of  Melissa spends her time raising her two amazing children, reading, and exploring the city.

She promotes the use of seasonal, local and fresh ingredients to create flavorful and simple dishes.  So much so, that after recently moving to San Francisco, she has decided to dedicate the entire year of 2011 to eating only local foods and blogging about it on
