Summer’s bounty is upon us! And this low carb sautéed green bean recipe is a great way to showcase delicious fresh produce. Quickly cooking the beans in a hot pan until they are just tender-crisp helps seal in the fresh flavor. A little garlic and parmesan never hurt either.
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 lb green beans, washed, trimmed and dried
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- Salt and pepper
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the green beans and sauté until bright green and tender-crisp, about 7 minutes.
- Add the garlic and continue to sauté until the garlic is fragrant, another minute. Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Toss to mix well.
- Serve immediately.
