Thankful for A Sweet Life Thanksgiving Dinner!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving – a day when so many families gather around the table and break bread together, celebrating what makes them thankful.

We’re thankful that there are healthy foods that are both delicious and easy on your blood sugars, and we wanted to share some of our favorite holiday recipes with you. Set your Turkey Day table with these amazing side dishes, sauces, and desserts.

Easy Mulled Cranberry Juice – No need to purchase any store-bought juice, just boil the berries with water until they pop. The scent of the cinnamon, ginger, and cloves will warm up your whole house.

Roasted Squash and Cauliflower Soup – This easy roasted squash and cauliflower soup smells like Thanksgiving! It’s warm and comforting and yet very light. You can make it a little heartier by adding a pat of butter and a few tablespoons of cream to each bowl.

Chipotle Lime Sugar Free Cranberry Sauce – A delicious, tangy sauce you can prepare ahead of time!

Garlicky Roasted Broccoli – The garlic, red pepper flakes and lemon give it so much flavor, and roasting changes the texture just a bit.  It’s absolutely delicious!

Butternut Squash & Cauliflower Casserole – This recipe, made rich and flavorful with some Parmesan and dried thyme, is a perfect Thanksgiving side dish.

Ranch Roasted Radishes – Roasted radishes are super tasty and make a great healthy side dish.

Brown Butter Spaghetti Squash with Sage and Pine Nuts – Forget ambrosia. Brown butter is the food of the gods! Put it on or in anything and instantly you’ve amped up the flavor profile. Savory or sweet, it’s just out of this world.

Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Browned Butter – A hot pan caramelizes the sprouts in a matter of minutes and a little browned butter drizzled over makes them a delectable side dish.

Pumpkin Spice Cake with Brown Butter Frosting – The low carb brown butter frosting on this delicious cake puts a perfect finish on your Thanksgiving meal!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
