Thanks to the article published in Pediatrics, we might call 2018 the year of the low carb breakthrough. Finally, we have much needed data to support a low carb lifestyle for people with type 1 diabetes. This year we talked a lot about TypeOneGrit, and we got the Dexcom G6 and the Tandem t:slim X2. We talked about the high cost of insulin, and what high blood sugar feels like. We talked about metformin, and low carb pumpkin spice bars. In short, we’ve covered a lot.
