Bayer Diabetes Care and Nick Jonas awarded the three grand prize winners of Bayer’s “Express Your Simple Win Creativity Contest.” The contest entrants were all children living with type 1 diabetes. According to EmaxHealth each of the 160 participants sent in a 15-30 second video that expressed their “Simple Win” – small, every day victories for managing diabetes that add up to big differences over time. The videos included original lyrics, drawings, photos, or other creative ideas.

Pop star Nick Jonas has announced a new partnership with Bayer Diabetes Care which will take his diabetes advocacy to the United Kingdom. Jonas has been making waves this year with high profile trips to Washington D.C. to raise diabetes awareness.
The new partnership aims to provide young people and their families with the support they need to simplify life with diabetes. Jonas, the youngest member of the popular pop group The Jonas Brothers, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 13. He is now 17 years old.
