Summer Reading: Emily Patton Recommends…

Are you looking for a good book to take along on your vacation this summer?  All month ASweetLife’s bloggers and contributors will be sharing some of their favorites.

My book recommendation has little to do with diabetes, but here it is:
This is a book about an alternate perception of reality.  When I read it for the first time, it moved me in such a significant way that I talked about it with everyone I knew (or met). While the author claims he is not an expert, the fictional book describes in excellent detail how a boy with Asperger’s Syndrome might view the world.  The book acts as a reminder that we truly never know what “the other” is thinking or experiencing and the most important thing we can do is act in honesty and love.

A motivating discussion is definitely worth comment. I think that you
ought to write more on this topic, it may not be a taboo
subject but usually people do not speak about these
topics. To the next! Best wishes!!
