Yelena Danziger, co-creator of the LogFrog DB diabetes management iPhone app, sends us word of SUGAR RUSH, a San Franciscobenefit concert for the American Diabetes Association that she is co-organizing with singer/songwriter Ziva Hadar and the Napa Valley Tour de Cure Chair Kim Carter. SUGAR RUSH, now in its third year, brings together more than a dozen local singer/songwriters donating their time and talent to help fundraise for the ADA in advance of the popular annual Tour de Cure cycling event. All three women organizers have been involved with the Tour de Cure for years, as riders, fundraisers, volunteers, organizers, and committee members, and are thrilled to be able to host an event where all proceeds can be donated to the ADA. While SUGAR RUSH is currently a San Francisco event, the organizers hope the concept of fun concerts featuring local talent in support of people with diabetes will spread everywhere the ADA holds Tour de Cure rides — and beyond! If you can be in San Francisco on April 14th, come enjoy some live music for a great cause. Tickets are just $15. You can buy a ticket online here or at the door. If you can’t go, you can still help by buying a ticket, 100% of which will go towards this great cause, and by spreading the word about the concert online (use #SugarRushConcert).
Nice! Looks like a cool event!
