Parmesan Garlic Green Beans

Summer’s bounty is upon us! And this low carb sautéed green bean recipe is a great way to showcase delicious fresh produce. Quickly cooking the beans in a hot pan until they are just tender-crisp helps seal in the fresh flavor. A little garlic and parmesan never hurt either.

Parmesan Garlic Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 lb green beans, washed, trimmed and dried
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the green beans and sauté until bright green and tender-crisp, about 7 minutes.
  2. Add the garlic and continue to sauté until the garlic is fragrant, another minute. Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Toss to mix well.
  3. Serve immediately.
