Jonas Brothers Diabetes Benefit Concert

The Jonas Brothers are set to perform a concert at Danny DeVito’s house.  The concert will benefit the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.

The event is in support of Dr. Francine Kaufman, Nick Jonas’ own diabetes doctor.  Jonas was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 13 and even wrote a song about his struggles with it, “A Little More Longer.” He has also acted as a diabetes ambassador to promote diabetes management for young people and has testified before the U.S. Senate for more research funding.

The “Rock for Diabetes” event will take place Sunday, May 16th from 4pm to 7pm at the Beverly Hills home of Danny DeVito and Rhea Pearlman.

Tickets begin at $1000 for the private performance from Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas, a gourmet picnic and drinks. Tickets are $2500 for the same, plus a meet and greet with the Jonas Brothers themselves, including autographs and a photo.

Wish my family lived near there and could go. As the parent of a child with Type 1 diabetes, I appreciate all that Nick does in support of diabetes.
