The product will begin shipping in August 2012.

The t:slim Insulin Pump has the footprint of a credit card and the look of a smart phone. I hope this gets approved in Canada soon. I would love to give this a whirl. Anyone know how much this costs (I was looking at a Roche pump on the w/e – at a JDRF walk – and her in Canada – it’s the cheapest of all the pumps out on the market in our country – at only (I cringe saying this) $6,300.00 Cdn – Animas Ping is $8,000 Cdn with only a 4 year warranty (Roche has 5 years).
